After some fails, a lots of reading "how to" I finally putted my hands on sterling silver and got a piece which I really like. As for me, to study how to work with copper is not the way to do a silversmiths in future (that was my plan), as thees two metals pretty different to work with. Copper is cheaper, I thought, so I can ruin a lots of wire and solder before I will get how to create shape that I want with minimum compromising to the properties of metal. But that is only a half of truth. Yes, you can have an idea about different techniques working with copper, but you will never guess witch specifics they require to work with the silver. So I feel like I am starting again nearly from scratch. Oh my...
And here is earrings I can proud of on this stage. A long, long way ahead to what I want to create without my skills limits that I have now.
